This Springfield Armory manufactured hammer with a parkerized finish is for the U.S. military model M1 Garand semi-auto rifle and is in very good condition with honest wear and possibly some specks of surface rust. This hammer is marked "SA D5546008" on the front side and would have been used in the post war manufactured rifles. (file photo)
